# Carrier Lane

> Carrier Lane is a wholesale voice carrier that terminates calls to US toll-free numbers (800, 833, 844, 855, 866, 877 and 888) over IP-authenticated SIP trunks. Customers pay per minute from a prepaid wallet with 6/6 billing. Caller ID and STIR/SHAKEN Identity headers are passed through unaltered.

Carrier Lane sells US toll-free termination only. It does not currently offer US local (DID) termination or international termination. Rates are not published; they are quoted per customer.

## Service facts

- Service: wholesale US toll-free voice termination (8XX).
- Prefixes covered: 800, 833, 844, 855, 866, 877, 888.
- Buyers: VoIP carriers, wholesale resellers, call-tracking and pay-per-call platforms, contact centers, UCaaS and CPaaS providers.
- Interconnect: IP-to-IP SIP trunking, authenticated by whitelisted source IP addresses. No SIP registration and no trunk username or password.
- Codec: G.711 u-law (PCMU).
- Caller ID: passed through exactly as received. Private calls are forwarded with the real number in P-Asserted-Identity and Privacy: id. Calls with no caller number are rejected.
- STIR/SHAKEN: an Identity header that arrives with the call is forwarded unaltered; never stripped or replaced.
- Maximum call length: answered calls up to 5 hours.
- Billing: prepaid wallet, per-minute rate, 6/6 increments (6-second minimum, then 6-second increments). Calls are accepted only when the balance covers them; an active call ends when the balance runs out. No postpaid invoices.
- Capacity: each account has its own concurrent channel limit and calls-per-second (CPS) limit, expanded as traffic grows.
- Customer portal: live active and connected calls against the channel limit, wallet balance and daily spend, call logs with billed seconds, cost, SIP response and hangup cause, and wallet history.

## How to buy

1. Contact sales with company name, source IP addresses and expected channels and CPS.
2. Receive a per-minute rate and a customer portal login.
3. Top up the prepaid wallet through the Carrier Lane team.
4. Send test calls, then production traffic.
